  • "This Bed Gave My Girl Her Walks Back"

"My dog loves this! Ari will literally spend all afternoon on this bed. Great quality! Thick. Comfortable. Easy to set up and is ready quickly. Good resistance to diggers. Not great for dogs who love to chew. Easy to clean. Soft material. Great for large dogs. German Wirehaired mix over 70 pounds fit perfectly curled up and spread out. After a few weeks she was jumping up every time I touched the leash. Hadn't seen that behavior in months. Highly recommend!" - Tucker J. ★★★★★

About

Your dog gave you their best years. The zoomies, the greetings at the door, the head on your lap on a hard day. Now they're slowing down. Getting up takes a second longer. They circle before they lie down, and some nights they just can't get comfortable.

Here's what most owners never get told: it's usually not the arthritis getting worse overnight. It's the bed.

A regular bed is one flat slab of foam. When a sore joint rests on it, there's nothing to sink into, so the muscles around that joint stay tense all night trying to hold it still. Muscles that never relax for eight hours don't wake up rested. They wake up stiff. That's the rough first ten minutes every morning. And cheap "orthopedic" beds only make it worse, flattening out under the heaviest joint until your dog is basically sleeping on the floor.

We built PawRelief to fix the actual problem.

Instead of one flat slab, the surface is a grid of sealed pockets. When your dog lies down, the sore joint sinks into the space between the pockets and gets held gently from the sides, while the rest of the bed stays firm and supportive. The joint finally has somewhere to rest, the muscles let go, and your dog sleeps instead of shifting all night. It isn't a softer bed. It's a smarter one.

What that means for your dog:

Deeper sleep through the night, less pacing and getting back up. Easier mornings with less stiffness and fewer slow starts. Real support that holds where it counts, wash after wash, because the pockets can't clump or bottom out like ordinary foam.

The proof behind it: In blind testing, 87% of dogs chose PawRelief over their current bed. It's trusted by veterinarians and used in animal hospitals and rehab centers for recovery. And it's built for real life, with a non-slip base that grips the floor, built-in airflow so it never sleeps hot, and a whole bed (not just the cover) that goes in the wash and comes out like new.

Two sizes, Medium and Large. Four colors named after real dogs: Georgia, Nero, Oliver, and Luna.

Every bed comes with our 30-Night Risk-Free Trial. Put it under your dog, watch their mornings for a month, and if they aren't resting easier, send it back for a full refund.

Because your dog deserves more than a cushion on the floor. They deserve to actually rest.

Here's to deeper sleep and brighter days!

Most Beds Don't Solve The Problem

Having a bed with more cushioning doesn't change the fact that the pressure of laying down is pushing directly on your dog's joints. The hips and elbows take the hardest beating.

Take Pressure Off The Joint

The PawRelief bed cushions AROUND the joint, allowing the muscles surrounding the joint to relax and relieving the pain caused by arthritis.

Used By Veterinarians

The PawRelief bed was designed for and used by veterinarians. The staff at the animal hospital of Vancouver are our biggest supporters and most avid users. We base all of our design and improvements on feedback from veterinarians and our customers.

  • Highly recommended!

"We have been using PawRelief for our patients for several years now. All of our patients have responded well to the level of comfort and support which they provide." - Dr. Beltran, B VetMed

  • Exceeded my expectations!

"Your beds are awesome! Nice and thick for post-op recovery. And the stuffing doesn't get bunched or lumpy." - Kirby

  • Perfect!

"Luna has several beds; however when she received this particular mat, she instantly loved it, and abandoned her other mats and beds." - Sylvie

Does it actually work?

Will this really help my dog's joints, or is "orthopedic" just a marketing word?

"Orthopedic" isn't a regulated term, so plenty of $40 beds print it on a bag of shredded foam. Two things you can verify about ours:

  • It's used in veterinary hospitals and rehabilitation centers, the places that treat joint pain for a living.
  • 87% of dogs chose it over their existing bed in blind testing.

The patented design spreads your dog's weight across the whole surface instead of letting hips, elbows and shoulders press down into the floor underneath.

How long before I see a difference?

Most owners notice it in the mornings first. The dog gets up in one motion instead of two or three, and skips the slow stretch-and-limp walk to the water bowl.

Give it a full week of consistent sleeping on the bed before you judge it. Joint stiffness builds over months and doesn't unwind in one night. That's why the trial window is 30 days instead of 7. You get four weeks to see a pattern rather than one night to guess.

My dog is already on joint supplements and medication. Is a bed going to add anything?

They solve different halves of the problem. Supplements and medication work on what's happening inside the joint. A bed works on what's pressing against it for 12 to 16 hours a day.

A senior dog sleeps more than half their life. If those hours happen on a hard floor or a collapsed cushion, you're treating the joint all day and re-aggravating it all night. The sleeping surface is the cheapest variable you control.

PawRelief is a comfort product, not a medical device, and isn't a substitute for veterinary care. Keep your vet in the loop on anything diagnostic.

Price and value

How is this different from the $250 and up premium beds?

One difference matters more than the rest. On nearly every premium bed, only the cover is washable. The foam core underneath isn't, so every accident, every drool patch and every wet-dog day soaks into a core you can never clean. You zip a clean cover over a dirty block of foam.

On PawRelief, the entire bed goes in the washer, core included. There's nothing to unzip and nothing left behind.

That matters most for exactly the dog these beds are built for: an older dog who's more likely to have accidents in the first place. It decides whether you keep the bed or throw it out.

Cleaning and day-to-day

My dog has accidents. Can I actually clean this?

Yes, completely. The whole bed goes in the washing machine, not a cover.

There's nothing to unzip, no foam to wrestle out of a sleeve, and no core that stays dirty forever. Pocket-square construction is what makes this possible, since the fill can't clump or bunch up in the wash. It comes out with the same structure it went in with.

This is the most common reason people switch to us from a bed they already own.

Will it get hot? My dog already overheats.

The channel design lets air move through the bed instead of trapping body heat against a solid slab, which is the usual complaint about dense memory foam. It's built to be comfortable year-round, not just in winter.

We have hardwood and tile floors. Will it slide when my dog climbs on?

No. The bottom is non-slip and stays put on hardwood, tile, laminate and carpet. This matters more than people expect, because an arthritic dog who feels the bed shift underneath them will stop trusting it and go back to the floor.

My dog chews and digs at bedding. Will it survive?

No bed is a chew toy, and any brand promising otherwise is selling you something.

What we will say is that a lot of destructive chewing in older dogs comes from discomfort and restlessness, and it often drops off once they're sleeping properly. If your dog decides otherwise, you're still inside a 30-day window. That's what the guarantee is for.

Sizing and fit

Which size do I need?

Dog bed  ·  Small: 30" x 20"  ·  Large: 42" x 28"
Cat bed  ·  Small: 24" x 18"  ·  Large: 30" x 22"

Measure your pet nose to base of tail while they're lying down, then add about 6 inches.

When in doubt, size up. Dogs with sore hips often sprawl on their side because curling up hurts, and they need the extra room. A dog hanging off the edge is a dog putting weight back on the floor.

What if I order the wrong size?

Message us and we'll sort it out inside your 30-day window. Wrong size is the easiest problem on this page to fix, so don't let it talk you out of ordering.

What if my dog just refuses to use it?

Some dogs claim it in ten seconds. Others, especially older dogs set in their ways, take three to seven days. Three things speed it up:

  • Put it exactly where they already sleep. Don't move their spot and change their bed on the same day.
  • Lay a worn t-shirt or their old blanket on top for the first few nights.
  • Don't lift them onto it. Let them find it.

If they still want nothing to do with it after that, you have 30 days.

Ordering and risk

What exactly is the guarantee?

30 nights, risk-free. Use the bed, wash it, and let your dog actually live on it.

If your dog isn't moving easier and sleeping better, email us within 30 days and we'll refund you. We don't require the original packaging, and there's no restocking fee.

Our promise is that your old dog stops waking up as stiff, or you don't pay. We can make that promise because the bed works.

How fast does it ship, and what does shipping cost?

Free shipping anywhere in the US. Orders typically arrive in 5 to 8 business days, and you'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves.

Is it worth it if my dog is very old?

That's usually the dog it helps most.

Nobody asks this about a young dog. People ask when they're quietly wondering how much time is left and whether it's worth spending the money. The fewer good days there are, the more each one is worth. A dog with two years left will spend roughly 400 of those days asleep, and where they spend them matters.
